On 09th January,1927 the famous Indian environmentalist and activist,Sundarlal Bahuguna took birth in the village Madora near Tehri Garhwal,Uttarakhand . He was a follower of Gandhian philosophy . He married to Vimla Bahuguna and had three children. He had fought for years by taking up the issues on environment protection such as building of large dams, deforestation etc. How Sunderlal Bandyopadhyay become Bahuguna:-                         In 2013 Sundarlal said about his bearing the surname Bahuguna. He was invited as chief guest in a award ceremony organised by the state environment department.
