DD International:Competitor to BBC NEWS


BBC News, we can hear this name almost from each and every people of the world . Infact, almost all renowned countries in the world have their own international news channel which is funded by their own government . For example:- 

1.ABC:-Australia's International news channel

2.RT NEWS(formerly Russia Today):- Russia's International news channel

3.BBC NEWS:- International news channel of UK 

4.NHK:- Japan's International news channel

5.Voice of America:- International news channel of USA

6.FRANCE 24:- International news channel of France

7.AJMN:- Qatar's International news channel

                     But not a single channel among them cares about India's news after all they are International news channels,they only broadcast about the negative things on India such as poverty,caste discrimination, illiteracy, rape etc. as if their countries have no such problems and always tried to show India a literally backward country. Of course India has these social and political issues but still we and our cultural heritage is beyond the imagination,we have positive things also and now India is very advanced in many sectors like Iron production, Medical drugs production, building a World's largest solar energy park in Gujarat, World's 4th largest and advanced army etc.

India's International News Channel:-

                        We all must heard the name of Doordarshan, owned by Prasar Bharati which have different news and cultural channels on different languages also. But DD Television Network is only broadcasted in India.

                        By keeping an eye on these one sided international news channels the present Indian government decided to set up an Indian origin International news channel and named it as "DD INTERNATIONAL" which will be funded by the "Government of India". 

                       According to officials it is said that the perspective of India is getting lost in the noise,so to project the India's point of view infront of the global digital platform Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi declared to set up an international news channel of India which will cover both domestic as well as international news.
